An animation starter
The animation industry has revolutionized storytelling not only in feature animation but also in live-action film, games, commercials and most recently AR/VR experiences. This course will cover an introduction to animation and some of its basic principles. The goal is to get acquainted with Maya's animation tools and ultimately decide if Animation is for you. This course serves as a foundaton for all Animation Master Academy Programs. The Animation for Beginners course is complimentary, but please note seats are limited. A $100 application fee is due when you submit your application; this fee is held pending your acceptance and will be refunded if you are not selected to participate in the course.

Fernando has +10 years of experience in animation, currently works as an Animation Supervisor at Framestore. He started his career in Brazil working on several commercials, TV shows and Games, later he went on to be Animation Director on one of the first animated feature films in Brazil. After that he worked as a Lead Animator at MPC and Framestore in projects like Detective Pikachu, The Predator, His Dark Materials. He has been teaching animation for the past 7 years.
